About the Opportunity

A top-tier bulge bracket, elite boutique, or upper-middle-market investment bank is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to lead transaction execution across M&A, capital markets, or industry coverage.

You will manage deal teams, drive analyst/associate output, interface with clients, and partner closely with MDs on live mandates.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

Deal Execution & Leadership

• Lead execution of sell-side, buy-side, and capital raise transactions.

• Own financial models, valuation outputs, CIMs, and board materials.

• Ensure accuracy, speed, and narrative quality across all deliverables.

Team Management

• Manage and mentor Analysts and Associates.

• Review models, decks, and analyses under tight timelines.

• Set execution standards and enforce best practices.

Client Interaction

• Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact.

• Participate in management presentations, diligence sessions, and negotiations.

• Translate complex analyses into executive-level narratives.

Business Development Support

• Assist MDs with pitch development and client targeting.

• Help originate follow-on opportunities with existing clients.

• Develop industry expertise and thought leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Background

• 6–9 years of investment banking experience.

• Strong track record in M&A or industry coverage.

• Experience at BB, EB, or top MM bank.

Technical Skills

• Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise.

• Deep understanding of transaction mechanics.

• Exceptional attention to detail under pressure.
