As a VP in Investment Banking, you will:

• Lead transaction execution teams in preparing and analyzing historical and projected financial information, developing marketing materials, and coordinating due diligence.
• Build relationships and maintain day-to-day contact with clients, prospects, and advisors.
• Assist senior bankers in business development efforts including prospect identification, marketing initiatives, and pitching new business.
• Work primarily on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, with clients including Fortune 1000 companies, private equity groups, and founder-run businesses

What we look for:

• Candidate attributes that Baird values – drive to succeed, superior intellect, demonstrated leadership ability, attention to detail, ability to work in teams, and a commitment to excellence.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of prior investment banking experience and a proven ability to lead the execution effort on M&A transactions.
• Candidates must also display excellent client relationship skills and an ability to learn in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Prior investment banking experience is required. An MBA or JD degree is preferred.
