Compensation:
$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement
Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, analysts, and deal scouts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated professional relationships.
Investment Committee Advisors sit at the highest decision-support tier of the ecosystem—providing experienced judgment, risk perspective, and institutional discipline to investment committees while benefiting from meaningful earning opportunities and elevated credibility across the network.
Initio Sphere is onboarding Investment Committee Advisors to support fund managers, investors, and sponsors at the investment committee (IC) level, providing independent perspective on deal quality, risk, structure, and decision readiness.
This is not a traditional employment role. Investment Committee Advisors operate as independent contractors, activated through a selective verification and approval process.
Once approved, Investment Committee Advisors:
Advise on IC-level decision frameworks, risk assessment, and approval readiness
Review and challenge investment theses, assumptions, and downside scenarios
Mentor analysts and deal teams on IC standards and institutional rigor
Access curated deal exposure, advisory engagements, and transaction-linked earning opportunities
Build a verified Investment Committee Advisor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem
This role is designed for senior professionals with deep experience sitting on, presenting to, or advising investment committees.
Approved Investment Committee Advisors may be engaged to:
Review investment memos, diligence outputs, and financial models from an IC perspective
Assess deal structure, risk allocation, downside protection, and return drivers
Provide independent challenge on assumptions, scenarios, and valuation logic
Advise sponsors and fund managers on IC presentation quality and decision readiness
Participate in mock IC sessions, pre-IC reviews, or live IC discussions (as approved)
Mentor analysts and deal scouts on institutional IC expectations and decision standards
Investment Committee Advisors focus on judgment, governance, and decision quality—not execution-level modeling or day-to-day deal management unless explicitly approved.
Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated IC-level capability in one or more of the following:
Investment committee processes and governance
Deal structuring and risk evaluation
Diligence oversight and red-flag identification
Valuation, downside analysis, and return assessment
Portfolio construction and capital allocation judgment
Analyst and deal team mentorship (IC standards)
