A leading middle-market investment bank may seek an Investment Management Analyst – Banking Track to support investment analysis, portfolio evaluation, and deal execution. This role offers rigorous analytical experience, exposure to capital markets, M&A transactions, and investment management processes, and structured professional development within a hybrid banking-investment management context.
Build and maintain financial models including 3-statement, DCF, LBO, and portfolio-level analyses
Conduct industry research, benchmarking, and valuation analyses to support banking and investment management decisions
Support live M&A, capital markets, and restructuring engagements
Assist in preparing pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations
Participate in portfolio monitoring, asset allocation analysis, and investment performance reporting
Assist with due diligence, data room organization, and transaction execution
Collaborate with senior bankers and investment managers across client strategy, deal workflows, and investment evaluation
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
Ability to handle multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in banking, asset management, private equity, or investment advisory is highly beneficial
