Position Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious investment professional who combines strong analytical abilities with exceptional organization and flawless execution. This role spans investment research, portfolio management, trading, client strategy, and investment operations, providing direct exposure to senior advisors, firm leadership and clients. This role is designed for professionals who want more than a defined job description. Core Responsibilities:
Investment Research & Analysis

• Conduct due diligence on mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, alternative investments, and portfolio managers.
• Analyze portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk, and performance.
• Monitor markets and economic trends and communicate actionable insights.
• Support investment committee meetings through research and recommendations.

Portfolio Management & Trading

• Execute trades accurately across client portfolios.
• Support portfolio implementation, rebalancing, tax-aware trading, and cash management.
• Coordinate with custodians and third-party investment managers.
• Maintain model portfolios and improve trading workflows.

Client Support & Innovation

• Prepare sophisticated client presentations and portfolio analyses.
• Support advisors during complex investment discussions.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and recommend scalable solutions.
• Lead initiatives that improve investment processes, technology, and efficiency.
• Champion the thoughtful adoption of AI and emerging technologies to enhance investment research, automate workflows, improve client deliverables, and scale the firm's investment platform.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Master's degree in Finance, Investment Management, Financial Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in investment management, wealth management, institutional asset management, family office, or investment consulting.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, capital markets, and asset allocation.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Orion, Tamarac, Black Diamond, Addepar, Schwab, Fidelity, or similar platforms preferred.
• Series 65 (or willingness to obtain); CFA or CFP progress is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to leverage AI tools—including Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT—to improve productivity, enhance investment research, automate workflows, and help scale the business.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of identifying opportunities to innovate, create efficiencies, and continuously improve processes.

Compensation: Target Salary - Commensurate with the level of experience and comprehensive benefits including 401K.
