Investment Operations Analysts do not wait months for placement—once verified, they can immediately begin earning income by supporting the operational execution of live transactions and fund activities.
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Investment Operations Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.
Once approved, Investment Operations Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to live deal flow and paid operational work
Support investors, fund managers, and operators in executing transactions, monitoring capital deployment, and ensuring compliance
Build a verified track record of operational excellence and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Analyst / Associate Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background: Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or senior operations/finance professionals with 5+ years of experience in transaction execution, fund operations, or portfolio administration
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background: Finance or operations professionals with 3–5 years of experience in transaction workflows, capital deployment oversight, or fund administration
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong organizational, analytical, and operational skills
Investment Operations Analysts are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
Manage and monitor deal execution workflows
Track capital deployment, drawdowns, and fund allocations
Ensure compliance with investor instructions, agreements, and internal standards
Prepare operational reports for fund managers, investors, and stakeholders
Coordinate with analysts, investors, and deal teams to ensure smooth transaction closing
Provide summaries of transaction status, capital utilization, and operational risks
Highlight potential operational bottlenecks or compliance issues
Support process improvements for investment execution and fund operations
Assist in financial modeling adjustments or scenario analysis
Perform operational due diligence or post-closing performance review
Support risk assessment and investment memo preparation
Analysts may only perform work in categories for which they are explicitly approved.
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Investment Operations, Compliance, or Transaction Support)
Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live transaction support
No cold applications. No unpaid “experience.” Verified Investment Operations Analysts are actively promoted to investors, fund managers, and deal sponsors.
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Completion of Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility and access to operational work
Approved work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Scores are updated based on operational quality, timeliness, and client feedback.
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful completion of approved operational work
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues
Investment Operations Analysts do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is limited to operational, analytical, and execution support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
