Investment Operations Associates support investment teams, portfolio managers, and fund accountants by managing day-to-day operational workflows, capital movements, and reporting processes. The role combines financial administration, operational oversight, and performance tracking in a dynamic investment environment.
This position works closely with portfolio managers, operations teams, and investor relations to ensure smooth fund operations, accurate reporting, and efficient workflow management.
Process and reconcile investment transactions, including capital calls, distributions, and NAV calculations
Maintain accurate records of portfolio positions, investor commitments, and allocations
Support fund accounting and reporting processes for internal and external stakeholders
Assist with preparation of investor statements, performance reports, and regulatory filings
Collaborate with investment teams on portfolio monitoring, P&L tracking, and risk reporting
Build and maintain operational dashboards, tracking tools, and reporting templates
Identify and resolve operational discrepancies, process inefficiencies, and workflow bottlenecks
Support audits, compliance initiatives, and fund governance activities as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Knowledge of investment operations, fund structures, and portfolio administration
Experience or coursework in fund accounting, private capital, or investment operations preferred
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or fund administration platforms is a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
