Job Title: Investment Operations Specialist
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53202 (Onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Contract Full-Time Conversion Possible
The Global Fund Custody Group (GFC) is a division within Fund Services. Typical types of collateral include broadly syndicated, middle market, and private bank loan assets. The Operational Specialist works closely with internal groups to help maintain a high level of customer service while adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role focuses on supporting internal partners across a variety of client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Track pending and settled bank loan trades.
- Prepare and provide daily, monthly, and quarterly reports to clients.
- Respond to internal requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data through proper booking and reconciliation of account activity.
- Perform a variety of operational duties within Investment Operations.
- Research and resolve operational and accounting exceptions.
- Interface with Investment Operations and other internal teams to resolve issues and ensure efficient customer service.
- Verify account entries, balance totals, and prepare correcting adjustments as needed.
- Ensure all documentation requirements are satisfied.
- Respond to telephone and written inquiries and perform research related to customer, broker, or internal requests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- One or more years of experience in bank loan processing or loan administration within the syndicated loan market.
Preferred Skills
- Thorough knowledge of bank loan operational functions, systems, and procedures.
- Moderate credit agreement interpretation and analytical skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of Wallstreet Office, SEI, Solvas, and CDO Suite preferred.
