Investment Operations & Technical Support Analyst

We are currently seeking candidates for an Investment Operations & Technical Support Analyst position at a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Investment Operations & Technical Support Analyst will contribute to the core operations of the company's portfolio accounting platform, update and maintain security master data, and query and update data using SQL. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, Investment Operations, Trade Support, or Technical Support.
 

This role offers fully remote flexibility (must be located in EST or CST). The compensation is $90-100k (depending on experience). 

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the core operations of the company's portfolio accounting platform 

• Update and maintain security master data, including security setup and core maintenance, and perform troubleshooting as needed

• Perform end-of-day trade processing while ensuring data integrity between the portfolio accounting platform and Charles River

• Perform reconciliations, research, and resolve trade exceptions 

• Query and update data using SQL

• Update and maintain data leveraging SQL (queries, joins, updates, inserts, deletes)

• Perform troubleshooting to address user-reported issues 

• Assist in corporate actions, reporting, and investment operation activities 

• Collaborate with Portfolio Accounting, Trade Operations, Investment Operations, Technical Support, and additional internal teams as needed

• Provide additional support as needed

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Information Technology, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, Investment Operations, Trade Support, or Technical Support 

• Proficiency in Bloomberg and SQL (queries, joins, updates, inserts, deletes)

• Strong fixed income experience 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
