A leading fund is seeking an experienced allocator to support manager due diligence, portfolio construction, and investment decision-making across public and private markets. The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of experience in asset allocation or manager research.

This role offers broad exposure across global equities, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, private credit, and fixed income. The successful candidate will work alongside senior investment professionals and play an active role in manager due diligence, portfolio construction, investment research, and investment committee decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on external investment managers across public and private markets.
• Evaluate hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, private credit managers, public market strategies, and co-investment opportunities.
• Assist with portfolio construction, strategic asset allocation, and manager selection decisions.
• Perform industry, company, and macroeconomic research to identify investment themes and opportunities.
• Prepare investment memoranda, manager reviews, attribution analyses, and investment committee materials.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, liquidity profiles, and manager results.
• Participate in meetings with investment managers, portfolio managers, consultants, and other industry participants.
• Support portfolio rebalancing, manager monitoring, and ongoing investment oversight.
• Leverage technology and AI-driven tools to enhance investment research and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience within asset management, family offices, OCIO platforms, endowments, foundations, hedge funds, private markets, or investment banking.
• Experience as an allocator, manager research professional, or buy-side equity/fixed income research analyst.
• Strong understanding of institutional investment processes, portfolio construction, and asset allocation.
• Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and investment research skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable investment recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and interest in investing across asset classes.
• High degree of professionalism, humility, and attention to detail.
