Investment Strategy Analysts do not wait months for placement—once verified, they can immediately begin earning income by supporting live investment decisions and strategic initiatives across our network.
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Investment Strategy Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through Initio Sphere’s certification, verification, and approval process.
Once approved, Investment Strategy Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to real deal flow and paid strategic analysis engagements
Support investors, fund managers, and operators on investment strategy and capital allocation decisions
Contribute to investment theses, portfolio construction, and transaction planning
Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Investment Strategy Analyst · Lead Investment Strategy Analyst · Investment Strategy Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–$200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, or senior strategy/transaction consulting professionals with 5+ years of investment strategy or deal execution experience
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–$150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in investment analysis, valuation, portfolio strategy, or transaction support
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–$100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and exposure to financial modeling, diligence, or investment research
Investment Strategy Analysts are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
Support development of investment theses and portfolio strategies
Analyze market dynamics, competitive positioning, and value creation drivers
Evaluate downside risk, scenario outcomes, and capital allocation trade-offs
Translate quantitative analysis into strategic investment insights
Build and refine 3-statement financial models
Perform DCF, LBO, and project-level valuation analyses
Conduct commercial real estate and operating company underwriting
Run sensitivity, scenario, and downside analyses
Prepare comparable company and precedent transaction analyses
Develop football field valuation summaries
Perform Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
Support commercial, financial, and operational diligence
Assist with investment memos, IC materials, and portfolio review presentations
Identify transaction risks and execution considerations
Analysts may only perform work in categories for which they are explicitly approved.
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Investment Strategy, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)
Become verified on the Initio Sphere platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal work
No cold applications. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified Investment Strategy Analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Completion of Initio Sphere Financial Training
Active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility and strategic engagement access
Approved work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Scores are dynamically updated based on analytical quality, strategic contribution, and client feedback.
Analysts operate as independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues
Investment Strategy Analysts do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit or sell securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and strategy support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
