This position is based in our Boston headquarters. We believe in-person collaboration is a competitive advantage. Enterprise employees are typically in-office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays remote.
Wayfair is seeking an Investor Relations Analyst who will be an integral member of the organization as we scale our Investor Relations function to effectively communicate Wayfair's strategy and financial performance to the investment community.
As part of a dynamic strategic finance team at Wayfair, the Investor Relations Analyst will need to be someone comfortable working in ambiguity and eager to help the team optimize its processes, ensuring accurate and impactful communication with external stakeholders. This person will be highly collaborative, analytical, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundational interest in corporate finance and equity markets.
Investor Relations involves critical activities such as quarterly earnings preparation, investor presentations, competitive and market analysis, tracking shareholder ownership, and managing communications with buy-side and sell-side analysts. In addition, as a member of the corporate finance team, the successful candidate will also need to be a strong financial analyst and capable of building cross-functional partnerships across the organization.

What You'll Do
Monitor and analyze market data, stock performance, and sell-side analyst consensus models, preparing regular summaries and dashboards for executive leadership.
Support the execution of the quarterly earnings process, including developing KPI reports and financial modeling.
Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence by tracking peer financial results, industry trends, and equity research reports to provide actionable insights to the team.
Maintain and update the investor relations CRM database, tracking investor interactions, investor meeting logs, and post-roadshow feedback.
Support the logistics and planning for investor conferences, roadshows, and the annual shareholder meeting, ensuring seamless execution of schedules and materials.
Act as a liaison with external vendors (e.g., IR website hosting platforms, stock surveillance partners, and targeting tool providers).
Work cross-functionally with Legal, Accounting, FP&A, and Corporate Communications to gather accurate data for external messaging and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q).
Assist in fielding and routing incoming investor and retail shareholder inquiries under the guidance of senior team members.
What You'll Need
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
1+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or corporate communications (strong internships will be considered).
Basic understanding of capital markets, corporate financial statements, and valuation concepts.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, concise summaries.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and Excel modeling skills.
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across categories and internal stakeholders.
Highly organized with proficient time-management skills to efficiently plan, multi-task, and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
