The Investor Relations Specialist supports the Investor Relations function through a combination of operational execution, data support, and investor engagement activities. This role assists in compiling and summarizing financial, market, and investor information, contributes to the preparation of investor communications, and supports the coordination of investor interactions. The position requires attention to detail, professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information in a regulated public company environment.
Primary Accountabilities
Required Qualifications
2-5+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, treasury, accounting, or related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including data organization and reporting
Working knowledge of financial statements and capital markets concepts
Demonstrated ability to organize, synthesize, and communicate information clearly
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
Experience supporting financial analysis, earnings processes, or communications
Familiarity with financial and IR platforms
Exposure to public company reporting and capital markets environments
Familiarity with or interest in leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to improve efficiency and quality of work
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is $23.75- $33.25, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
