The IOP Technician/Aide works under the direction and supervision of a professional staff member to provide supportive services to participants. He/She will assist providing activities to participants, monitor patient’s vital signs and assist with ambulation and toileting. Assists dietary in serving lunches/snacks and assist with transportation services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience/desire to work with mentally and or physically disabled adults and older adults.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment completing a variety of job tasks.
Good communication, organizational and critical thinking skills
Able to evaluate, prioritize, seek guidance and follow through with assignments
Must be able to read, write and speak English
