Our culture combines legal expertise with an entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset.Position OverviewCaldwell is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our growing litigation practice. This role requires hands-on experience in intellectual property litigation , including patent and trade secret matters, and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes disputes in both state and federal courts. Experience supporting business or corporate litigation is preferred.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing complex litigation tasks while collaborating closely with attorneys, clients, and external vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesIP Litigation Support:Support all phases of intellectual property litigation, including patent, trade secret, and related IP disputes, from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial proceedings.Business / Corporate Litigation Support:Provide paralegal support on complex commercial, corporate, or business litigation matters as needed, such as securities and shareholder litigation, M&A litigation, and business torts.Case Management & Filings:Prepare, file, and manage pleadings, discovery materials, motions, exhibits, and trial filings in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative bodies when applicable.Discovery & Evidence Management:Coordinate and manage document discovery, including collection, review, production, and privilege logs; assist with ESI processes and work with e-discovery vendors.Trial & Hearing Preparation:Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including deposition summaries, exhibit lists, witness binders, demonstratives, and coordination of trial logistics.Docketing & Deadline Management:Track and manage litigation deadlines, court orders, and procedural requirements, ensuring compliance with court rules and scheduling orders.Attorney & Client Coordination:Serve as a key liaison between attorneys, clients, experts, and third-party vendors; assist with case status updates and litigation-related communications.Document & Case File Management:Maintain well-organized electronic and physical case files to ensure efficient access to litigation materials and institutional knowledge.QualificationsRequiredMinimum of 7+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal with at least 3 years of IP litigationBachelor's degree; or paralegal certificate; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experienceStrong knowledge of federal and state court procedures and litigation rulesExperience managing discovery, filings, and trial preparation in complex litigation mattersExperience with e-discovery platforms and litigation support softwareExperience with trial and pre-trial preparationParalegal certificate or equivalent professional experiencePreferredExperience supporting business, corporate, or complex commercial litigationWhy Join Caldwell?High-Impact Litigation Work: Be part of a growing IP and corporate litigation practice handling sophisticated, high-value disputes.Collaborative, Team-First Culture: Work alongside attorneys and professionals who value mentorship, collaboration, and shared success.Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Caldwell offers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and a strong commitment to professional growth and work-life balance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
