Description
- Advise clients on intellectual property transactions involving technology and branding matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to intellectual property, including licensing and collaboration deals.
- Conduct due diligence on intellectual property assets in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex intellectual property issues.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on protecting and commercializing their intellectual property portfolios.
- Stay informed on evolving laws and regulations related to technology and branding.
- Support litigation teams in disputes involving intellectual property rights, when necessary.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure superior service delivery.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admittance to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.
- Strong understanding of intellectual property law, particularly in the technology and branding sectors.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse client teams.
