Description
The IRA Cycle Counter II is responsible for performing accurate cycle counts of component and finished goods inventory, including inventory located at high elevations, within warehouse, shipping, and production areas. This role supports inventory accuracy goals (99%) and contributes to overall warehouse efficiency and product availability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Routinely cycle count inventory as directed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Use RF scanners to accurately input inventory data into WMS
Operate forklift reach trucks to access and count high-level inventory
Accurately verify Handling Unit (HU) quantities and batch numbers
Perform "search and rescue" tasks to locate lost or misallocated inventory
Rotate and retrieve product to consolidate space and minimize storage needs
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any safety hazards
Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by executive management
Maintain reliable and consistent attendance
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
6 months to 1 year of forklift reach truck experience required
Comfortable working at high elevations (stock pickers, high racking)
6 months to 1 year of experience using RF scanning equipment preferred
Basic clerical skills: reading, writing, typing, and spelling
Physical Requirement:
Must weigh under 400 lbs. and be no taller than 6'10" to operate stock pickers
Ability to work at heights and handle physical warehouse tasks as needed
