This is skilled work in the mechanical repair, maintenance and reconditioning of assigned gasoline and/or diesel powered automotive, heavy truck, construction and/or maintenance equipment. Examples of work include the inspection, diagnosis, and installation of automotive, mechanical, hydraulic, air conditioning and electrical systems; maintenance of specialized police and fire vehicular apparatus; repair and replacement of fuel lines, carburation, and diesel injection components; and servicing and reconditioning of rear axles, brakes, rims, tires, multi-speed transmissions, and hydraulics. This position is Emergency Critical (meaning the position is mandatory working before, during, and after an emergency and/or disaster). The assignment will be Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Salary: $23.83 - $33.77 Hourly
