IRCNoCo ELA Instructor - In-Person:
Instructors are in a dynamic role where the core responsibility is to guide students in integration and empowerment through language acquisition. Following the CASAS standards, both productive and receptive language skills are taught alongside cultural, life, and digital literacy skills. Instructors must be able to scaffold and differentiate for a wide variety of adult learners and adjust to the needs of each unique class. Twenty-first century learning is brought to students using technology in the classroom whether online or in person. Instructors' welcome students throughout the scheduled term and are able to assess needs and help guide students toward their learning goals. This position consists of three teaching terms: Spring (January-May), Summer (May-August), and Fall (August-December) and will include around 20 hours per week during teaching term, dependent upon class schedule. To be considered for this position, the employee must reside within the United States of America during the teaching terms.
Daytime and night class hours required.
