Pay Range: $15.00$17.00 per hour. Starting compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
The In-room dining Attendant is responsible for ensuring each in-room dining order is served according to the written ticket obtained by the In-room Dining Coordinator and each guest is given an outstanding 5-star dining experience while dining in their room.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Opening and closing duties of In-room Dining as assigned by the In-Room dining Manager or Supervisor
Assisting with tray configuration
Placement of glassware, tables, and food inside each room
Setting and delivery of Room Service Trays
Expediting delivery of plates and items to the table in the guest room.
Clearing deliveries from the guest room while maintaining our 5-star standards.
Must be able to give detailed comprehensive menu descriptions to a guest
Preparing & serving tableside items such as salads and soups
Carrying out specific tasks from the Restaurant Manager or In-Room Dining Manager as assigned
Must be able to work well with all team members and managers
Must be guest focus orientated
Passionate to be part of something great and making a difference
Must have a positive attitude & willingness to perform to the highest ability daily
Must have good organizational and disciplined skills
Must be able to create a one-of-a-kind site experience for our guests such as a Creekside or a Dinner Afield.
Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1-2 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service required
Experience related to dealing with the general public preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have excellent verbal communication skills
Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, managers, and team members
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to work long hours and be on feet for a long period
Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Restaurant, Dining Room, Bar, Wait Staff and Kitchen areas and other areas on property as necessary
May occasionally be asked to go outside in all weather conditions
