Qualifications and Details about the Position
The Industrial Ironworker must have 4 - 5 years experience as a craft Journeyman in the Construction/Maintenance Industry; must be able to raise, place and unite iron or steel girders, columns, and other structural members to form complete structural frameworks. May erect metal storage tanks and assemble pre-fabricated metal buildings; must be able to bolt up, connect and fit structural-steel, read blueprints; climb heights; be able to perform heavy rigging; uses of pneumatic air-hammer, impact wrench, spot wrench, and cutting torch; must also be enrolled in the NCCER program or have the NCCER Certification.
