Job: IMPM-Irrigation Production Manager - Lawncare Enhancements (Irrigation)

As an Irrigation Production Manager, you will oversee daily irrigation operations to ensure projects and service work are completed efficiently, safely, on schedule, and to company standards. This role is responsible for managing irrigation crews, coordinating resources, driving productivity, and ensuring high‑quality installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong technical irrigation knowledge and proven experience managing field production teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day‑to‑day irrigation production activities for installation, renovation, and service work
  • Plan, schedule, and assign irrigation crews, equipment, and materials to meet project and service demands
  • Supervise, train, and develop irrigation crew leaders and technicians
  • Monitor productivity, labor efficiency, and job progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met
  • Conduct site visits to inspect work quality, ensure adherence to plans, and address field issues
  • Troubleshoot irrigation system challenges and support crews with technical guidance
  • Coordinate closely with construction managers, project managers, and account teams to align irrigation work with overall project schedules
  • Enforce company safety policies, quality standards, and best practices
  • Support material ordering, inventory oversight, and equipment readiness
  • Assist with workforce planning, onboarding, performance management, and corrective actions
  • Driving safety culture across your production team through continuous training and leading by example
  • Building strong relationships with your internal and external clients
  • Partnering with your Account Manager to understand client expectations and communicating those expectations to your production team
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting a variety of landscape items to include pest control, irrigation and plant material
  • Assigning and scheduling tasks and routes for your production team
  • Ensuring that time keeping records are submitted in an accurate and timely manner
  • Counseling and developing members within your production team
  • Performing other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or irrigation‑related education preferred
  • 5+ years of hands‑on irrigation experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or production management role
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, installation methods, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans, blueprints, and work orders
  • Proven experience managing crews, schedules, and field productivity
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment and travel between job sites
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Florida Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR check

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in a commercial landscaping or landscape construction company
  • Knowledge of smart controllers, drip irrigation, water‑efficient systems, and system optimization
  • Familiarity with productivity tracking, labor management, and cost control
  • Experience supporting both installation and service‑based irrigation operations
  • Ability to problem‑solve and make operational decisions in the field
  • Experience coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
