Irrigation technician

Do you enjoy the outdoors? Staying active? Are you a hard worker that enjoys getting your hands dirty? Look no further; this may be the job for you! AquaPoint Irrigation is seeking a full-time irrigation technician in the Chippewa Valley starting in mid-April. AquaPoint offers both irrigation installations as well as irrigation maintenance services.

Duties Include:

· Installation of irrigation systems

· Servicing existing systems

· Use of Ditch Witch pipe puller, once fully trained

· Willingness to assist From the Ground Up landscaping crew when requested

Qualifications:

· Previous irrigation experience preferred but not required

· Motivated with a desire to learn

· Possess a positive work ethic and good attention to detail

· Ability to work independently as well as with others

· Good communication

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Must be at least 16 years old

Position requirements:

· Ability to actively work on feet for an entire day

· Job consists of being outside in various elements (heat, cold, wet)

· Must have reliable transportation

· Typical hours range Monday – Friday between 7am – 5pm

· Must be willing to work 35+ hours per week

Seasonal job:

· Optional year round employment available assisting with plowing, snow blowing and snow shoveling duties

Pay/Benefits:

· $20.00 - $30.00/hour (based on experience and growth in the company)

· Retirement plan options available after one year of employment
