The Opportunity

As an Intern in Digital Assurance, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, supporting our teams in delivering trusted financial reporting and decision-making services. Within our Assurance practice, you will gain exposure to various auditing methodologies and compliance standards, contributing to the integrity and transparency of our clients' financial information. This role offers a unique opportunity to observe and participate in projects that uphold regulatory requirements, allowing you to develop a foundational understanding of the audit and assurance landscape.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research, while observing professional work environments. This role emphasizes the importance of adopting a learning mindset and taking ownership of your development. You will be encouraged to actively listen, ask questions, and express ideas clearly, all while appreciating diverse perspectives and contributing to the team's success.

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams by participating in digital assurance projects
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting and decision-making processes
• Conducting basic research and applying auditing methodologies to assist in project tasks
• Engaging in client support activities to enhance understanding of compliance and governance frameworks
• Utilizing cloud engineering principles to contribute to the development of systematic approaches for audit processes
• Applying data quality assurance testing to validate the accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Participating in the evaluation of internal controls to support transparency and integrity in financial assessments
• Collaborating with team members to develop a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity governance and risk management practices

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
