Position Overview
The IS Project Manager I is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing large-scale information systems projects with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with organizational procedures and standards. This role oversees project execution, maintains project documentation, manages budgets, provides status reporting, and coordinates with project teams, stakeholders, and line managers to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Leadership
Plan, coordinate, and manage large-scale IT projects from initiation through completion.
Direct cross-functional project teams and establish project priorities.
Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and deliverables.
Coordinate activities with project managers, line managers, and stakeholders.
Monitor project performance and recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular status updates.
Technical & Systems Analysis
Serve as a technical expert in one or more specialized application systems areas.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, programming, and data integrity issues.
Develop or modify procedures to address system challenges while considering technical constraints and business requirements.
Prepare detailed technical specifications for application development and enhancements.
Design, code, test, debug, and support applications of varying complexity.
Coordinate implementation and deployment of application changes while ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
Work closely with application analysts and technical teams to resolve system and programming issues.

Required Education & Experience
Option 1:
High School Diploma/GED and an Associate's Degree in a technology or business-related discipline from an accredited college or university.
1 5 years of progressively increasing professional experience, including:
Minimum 2 years of project management/program oversight experience
Minimum 1 year of budget management experience
Minimum 1 year in a technical position
Option 2:
Associate's Degree in a technology or business-related discipline from an accredited college or university.
10 years of progressively increasing professional experience, including:
Minimum 2 years of project management/program oversight experience
Minimum 2 years of budget management experience
Minimum 2 years in a technical position
Option 3:
In lieu of a degree, 12 years of progressively increasing professional experience, including:
Minimum 3 years of project management/program oversight experience
Minimum 3 years of budget management experience
Minimum 2 years in a technical position
