Core Government Services is searching for a Systems Administrator to join our team at the Fort Bragg Mission Training Center. Applicants must have an active Secret, or higher, U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.Essential Functions:Monitors and responds to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniquesInstalls and configures network hardware and software. Provides network troubleshooting and supportProvides technical support and training to end-usersAdministers network securityBacks up file server data/disksProvides minor to moderately complex server maintenanceMaintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assignedParticipates in special projects as requiredManages Training Branch Systems:Installs, configures, and troubleshoots the network infrastructure, C2 hardware and software, and designs and executes C2 architectures in support of the classroom-training environment.Provides technical expertise to acquire, install, operate, integrate, and troubleshoot training and exercise systems within the classroom-training environment.Performs all hardware and software upgrades and new installs during scheduled downtime or at the discretion of the government, and in coordination with the Individual Training supervisor. Tests and validates, prior to use in an exercise, the hardware and software installs and upgrades integrated during scheduled downtime.Coordinates with Individual Training TIs to resolve problems with an emphasis on minimizing the impact on classroom training.Requirements:Active Security ClearanceProfessional Certification in one or more specific technologies may be required to meet DoD IAT II / DOD 8140 Certification.
