Branch Manager - Ennis TX

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas

Reports To: Texas Regional Manager Department: Operations

Position Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading all operational, financial, and business development activities for the Dallas/Fort Worth commercial and industrial scaffolding branch. This role oversees branch profitability, customer satisfaction, project execution, workforce development, and safety performance while ensuring exceptional service to existing clients and pursuing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader with extensive knowledge of commercial and industrial scaffolding, project management, estimating, and branch financial management.

Primary Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Direct all branch operations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable execution of scaffold projects.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, customer safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, equipment utilization, and project execution.
  • Monitor branch performance through key operational and financial metrics.
  • Develop operational strategies to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain scaffold inventory, equipment utilization, and fleet efficiency.

Project Management

  • Oversee multiple commercial and industrial scaffold projects from bid through project completion.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Resolve operational challenges quickly while minimizing impact to customers.
  • Review project costs, labor productivity, change orders, and profitability.
  • Ensure quality workmanship and timely project closeout.

Financial Management

  • Manage branch P&L performance.
  • Develop annual budgets and revenue forecasts.
  • Control labor costs, overtime, equipment expenses, and operating costs.
  • Monitor project margins and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Approve major purchases and capital expenditures.
  • Drive continuous improvement to increase profitability.

Business Development

  • Develop new commercial and industrial scaffold business throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
  • Build strategic relationships with general contractors, industrial facilities, plant owners, and construction managers.
  • Participate in estimating, proposal development, contract negotiations, and customer presentations.
  • Identify upcoming projects and market opportunities.
  • Partner with corporate leadership to develop branch growth strategies.
  • Represent ISO Services at networking events and industry organizations.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service before, during, and after project completion.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships that generate repeat business.
  • Conduct regular customer visits throughout the DFW market.

Leadership & Workforce Development

  • Recruit, hire, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and administrative staff.
  • Foster a culture centered on safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
  • Develop succession plans for key leadership positions.
  • Promote employee engagement and retention.

Safety Leadership

  • Champion a ''Safety First'' culture throughout the branch.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, customer, and company safety standards.
  • Review incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators.
  • Participate in customer safety meetings and audits.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial scaffolding operations.
  • Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with estimating, project costing, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA scaffold regulations and construction safety standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market and surrounding areas.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in commercial or industrial scaffolding operations.
  • Minimum 5 years in an operations, branch management, or senior leadership role.
  • Proven success managing branch financial performance and business growth.
  • Experience developing customer relationships and securing new business.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel as needed.
