Mechanical Foreman Job Profile1.0 Position Title:Mechanical Piping Foreman 2.0 Nature & Objective:A support position to ISO Services. The Pipe Foreman is responsible for supervision of fabrication, installation, and repair of piping, steel structure, and associated equipment, and for other activities involving ISO Services. 3.0 Reports to:Mechanical Superintendent 4.0 Position Qualifications:Requires High School Diploma or G.E.D; Requires successful completion of training requirements as outlined by ISO Services. Requires effective communication and organizational skills. Minimum four (4) years pipe welding or fitting experience; Minimum of one (1) year of supervision experience; Minimum of two (2) years of rigging and/or crane operation experience; Tank repair experience would be beneficial. 5.0 Responsibilities include the following:Hands on management of our construction jobsite resources (people, subcontractors, materials, tools, equipment) with focus on installation of structural steel, piping, and equipmentDaily identification and mitigation of jobsite hazardsProvide daily reporting to project managementFollows policies and practices as stated in the Employee Handbook and other facility policy and procedure manuals.Maintains a clean and well-organized workspace at all times.Strives to develop good working relationship with all co-workers, customers, and associates.On call duties as requiredWork per OSHA standards.Travel and overnight stay for several weeks at a time.Other miscellaneous duties as requested. 6.0 Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift a minimum of 50#.Must be in a physical condition that will allow walking long distancesMust be able to work in high places(no fear of heights)Must be able to work in any environment(heat, cold, rain)Must be able to physically work up to 84 hours a week, if necessaryMust be able to stand for an extended period of timeMust be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, reach and climbMust be able to work in confined spacesMust be well-groomedAll new hires are contingent on the passing of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
