Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support classified systems and secure operating environments for our SSC program. This role partners with the ISSM to ensure compliance, maintain system security, support accreditation activities, and manage cybersecurity documentation for highly secure national security space programs.
Work Environment:
Full-time, on-site role in El Segundo, CA supporting mission-critical Space Systems Command programs and classified national security space initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Maintain security compliance and operational readiness of classified information systems.
Support RMF, accreditation, and authorization activities.
Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, Risk Assessment Reports, SCTMs, and other security documentation.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and continuous monitoring activities.
Support security inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
Review hardware and software requests and perform security due diligence.
Assist with system hardening, patch management, and configuration control in secure environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree and 5+ years of cybersecurity, ISSO, or information assurance experience.
Experience supporting classified, air-gapped, or high-security environments.
Strong understanding of STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, system hardening, and compliance requirements.
Strong documentation and cybersecurity compliance experience.
Requirements:
DoD 8140 compliant certification (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent).
In-scope T5/SSBI with SCI eligibility.
Ability to obtain SCI/SAP access and complete polygraph requirements if needed.
Compensation:
$120,000 - $160,000 based on experience..
