Job Description
Issue Management Engineer Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Type: Contract
Key Requirements- 5+ years in automotive engineering, quality, validation, or issue management
- Own pre-/post-production issue tracking from intake through resolution
- Experience with GIM / issue tracking systems, dashboards, reporting, and issue aging
- Strong knowledge of automotive validation, HIL, PWB, launch readiness, and field quality
- Experience with IOP, IQS, QFS, warranty/field performance
- Strong RCA, corrective action, problem-solving, and lessons-learned experience
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA
- Coordinate across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, Warranty, and Customer Support
- Strong communication, documentation, escalation, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Stellantis Engineering Releasing Process experience preferred
- Automotive electrical/electronic systems experience preferred
