Key duties and Responsibilities
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the services offered and processes necessary to implement those services in a consistent and secure manner. Work with project managers and management to prepare and deliver documentation packages required as part of state, federal, and/or industry-required audits and assessments.
• Produce high quality documentation and flow charting to document processes and workflows. design and maintain documentation library. provides technical writing and process documentation for itsm, governance and technical teams.
• Provides standardized process documents in support of itsm and technical teams.
• Produces customer ready documentation (to be approved by admin strategic communication in support of statewide initiatives including but not limited to microsoft co-pilot, chat gpt policies and processes). conducts process training sessions in collaboration with itsm and governance teams.
• Participates in meetings with auditors and assessors and provides professional expertise in discussing information security controls and operational procedures as part of state, federal, and/or industry-required audits and assessments.
• Assist with agency scdis-200 assessments and compliance:
• Assists operational and governance teams by providing guidance and professional assistance during interview sessions.
• Develops, maintains, and updates as necessary all documentation related to processes and procedures, aligning them to standardized practices for compliance and operations as laid out in scdis-200 v.2.
Required skills
• 3+ years of extensive knowledge of IRS pub 1075
• 3+ years of NIST 800-53, NIST CSF,itil or cjis
• 5+ years of the ability to work with server and end-point technicians to develop detailed procedures
Preferred skills
• Experience with SCDIS-200 assessments and compliance
• Experience conducting process training sessions
• Experience participating in meetings with Auditors and Assessors
Education requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of workS
