Job Title: IT Admin II – Security Governance
Location: 5x onsite per week in Brownsville, WI OR Milwaukee, WI (could consider Green Bay or Neenah, WI as backups)
Duration: 06 months of Contract

Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

An IT Administrator II implements and maintains enterprise infrastructure, networks, systems, platforms and overall security posture. The person in this role will have a strong level of configuration experience in their technology domain. This role is responsible for implementing moderate to high-risk changes to critical functional areas while following established designs and configurations. To be successful, strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to work in a dynamic team environment where business needs drive priority and outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain and promote a strong health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) culture for all employees, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to comply with HSEQ policies, procedures, regulations, and continual improvement objectives. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and risks with a commitment to correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe or nonconforming actions or conditions.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and programs, NIST, ISO, CMMC, and others.
  • Familiarity with regulations like HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and NYDFS
  • Understanding concepts of risk tolerance, likelihood of exploit, impact, and residual risk
  • Strong analysis and writing skills, with the ability to write internal policy, standards, and procedures
  • Supporting internal and external audit teams and activities
  • Adept at converting technical risks into business friendly and digestible communications
  • Pragmatic approach, ensuring policies and controls align with business needs and risk tolerance
  • Knowledge of basic cloud, network, and system architectures, informing policy choices
  • Ability to communicate clearly, providing accurate and concise communications to IT leaders
  • Comfort with data manipulation, reporting, metrics collection, trend identification
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Other duties as assigned.

MARGINAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 3-5 years of experience as an IT Administrator in infrastructure or similar role, or an equivalent combination
  • Experience supporting enterprise level security governance programs
  • Familiarity with tools that map controls against multiple frameworks

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • CompTia Security+ or equivalent
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
