The State of South Carolina is looking for a Security Architect - Consultant (Cloud Engineer) Why is this position open: New Position - The Department of Technology Operations needs assistance with supporting deployment and management of the State-Wide Information Technology Shared Services Cloud initiatives and projects. This is a repost of posting ID 12901 due to location requirement changes - resources may be submitted if they were previously submitted. Max $$$: $$$ Will close to submissions on 08/06 at 5:00PM EST. Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online Duration of the Contract: 12 months Possibility for Extension: Yes Work Location: First week on site to get acclimated to team. After that, consultant should plan 3 days per month onsite. Remainer of time is remote. Onsite cadence will be scheduled with the manager after start. Vendor partner needs to be aware they will be an onsite element and plan accordingly. Candidate location: No South Carolina residency required. Open to nationwide candidates; must be able to work eastern time zone hours. All travel-related costs for onsite work will be the responsibility of the resource, regardless of the frequency of onsite work.
