    Description

    We are hiring an IT Administrator to start immediately for a Manufacturing company in Buena Park, CA.

    • This is a 100% on site position in Buena Park, CA
    • Contract to hire, salary is up to 80k/year on W2

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide hands-on technical support for telephony systems, end-user devices, and workplace technology.
    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and system performance in a timely manner.
    • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and required applications.
    • Address network connectivity and workstation access issues.
    • Evaluate, recommend, and assist with integrating new systems and tools into the environment.
    • Manage and update service requests within the ticketing platform, ensuring accuracy and follow-through.
    • Perform routine system maintenance and support equipment refresh initiatives.
    • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including installation and support procedures.
    • Track project work and communicate progress updates.
    • Maintain accurate records of IT assets (hardware and software).
    • Support document management processes, including retrieval of scanned files.
    • Coordinate vendor sourcing and pricing for technology purchases.
    • Assist users with collaboration and communication tools.
    • Support onboarding by guiding employees on systems, applications, and network usage.
    • Oversee office printing resources, including supplies and efficiency improvements.

    Systems & Infrastructure Support

    • Administer and support business systems, applications, databases, and communications platforms.
    • Maintain virtualized environments (Hyper-V), ensuring system health and replication.
    • Document and support network architecture, including troubleshooting methodologies.
    • Deploy and configure virtual servers and related services.
    • Provision user accounts and resolve access, permissions, and device-related issues.
    • Configure and support network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
    • Ensure overall reliability, security, and scalability of network operations.
    • Troubleshoot remote access, VPN, and voice systems (VoIP).
    • Manage backup processes and support data recovery as needed.
    • Monitor systems for security risks and implement safeguards against unauthorized access.
    • Support Microsoft 365 environment, including email flow, DNS, and related services.
    • Implement and maintain Group Policy and directory structures to strengthen security.
    • Administer ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., user setup, permissions, configurations).
    • Develop reporting and dashboards using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and similar platforms.
    • Research and recommend improvements to enhance system performance, security, and productivity.
    • Partner with IT leadership on process improvements and operational efficiencies.
    • Stay informed on emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends.
    • Manage credential policies and perform regular updates.
    • Apply required system, software, and firmware updates.
    • Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related tickets.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Strong knowledge of IT systems, end-user support, and business applications.
    • Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
    • Reliable with strong work ethic and attendance.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
    • High school diploma required; additional education or certifications preferred.
    • Minimum of 5+ years in IT support or systems administration.
    • Experience in manufacturing or ERP environments is preferr
