Responsibilities of the IT Administrator:

• Provide advanced frontline and escalated support for hardware, software, networking, Microsoft technologies, and manufacturing systems.
• 
  
• Administer and optimize Microsoft technologies including Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, BitLocker, licensing, and related services.
• 
  
• Serve as the primary on-site technical lead and smart-hands resource for centralized Network, Server, and Infrastructure teams.
• 
  
• Support enterprise networking environments and assist with troubleshooting connectivity, performance, and infrastructure-related issues.
• 
  
• Lead and coordinate site-specific projects, including endpoint deployments, network expansions, technology upgrades, and process improvements.
• 
  
• Support manufacturing technology environments, including HMIs, SCADA interfaces, shop-floor technology, and OT systems.
• 
  
• Monitor system and infrastructure health, perform proactive maintenance, and identify root causes of recurring issues.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, cybersecurity standards, change management processes, and reporting requirements.
• 
  
• Collaborate with corporate IT teams on enterprise initiatives, upgrades, and strategic technology projects.
• 
  
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior IT support staff and team members.
• 
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation, processes, and knowledge base resources to improve operational efficiency.
• 
  

Preferred Experience of the IT Administrator:

• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure experience.
• 
  
• Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.
• 
  
• Strong expertise with Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID, BitLocker, and endpoint administration.
• 
  
• Experience supporting Cisco-based network environments.
• 
  
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions, including Veeam.
• 
  
• Experience using IT service management platforms such as Freshservice.
• 
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows systems, infrastructure technologies, networking, and manufacturing applications.
• 
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 
  
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage priorities, and work independently.
• 
  

Bonus Experience of the IT Administrator:

• 
  
• Microsoft certifications.
• 
  
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
• 
  
• CCNA certification or advanced Cisco networking experience.
• 
  
• ITIL certification.
• 
  
• Experience with Cisco ISE and Umbrella security platforms.
• 
  
• Previous experience mentoring junior technicians or serving in a technical lead capacity.
• 
  
• Experience supporting OT environments and IT/OT convergence initiatives.
• 
  
• Familiarity with Purview and advanced Microsoft security and compliance tools.
•
