Description
IT Administrator | Permanent | On-Site in Madison, WI
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
- This role will serve as the day-to-day IT point of contact, partnering closely with leadership and an external managed IT services provider to keep systems reliable, secure, and continuously improving.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION
- Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000
- PTO: 3 weeks starting
- Retirement: 401(k) with a Match

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ITADMINISTRATOR
- Own day-to-day IT support (onsite/remote)
- Partner with managed IT + vendors (network, devices, apps, access)
- Manage user lifecycle: onboard/offboard, accounts, permissions, equipment
- Admin key systems: M365 + core business apps; standardize across locations
- Keep security tight: policies, training, backups/DR, security improvements
- Lead improvements: projects, documentation, user training, AI/automation pilots
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE IT ADMINISTRATOR
- 3–5 years of IT Support
- Experience with a variety of technologies - network equipment, servers, wireless access points, etc.
- Comfort in a Microsoft Environment including Windows 11 laptops / desktops, and Microsoft 365
- Prior experience with asset management, commissioning, and decommissioning equipment
