Job Summary Instruction in non-credit continuing professional education courses in one or more of the following areas: IT certifications - A Net Security, Cisco CCNA, AWS coding, programming, and related subject areas. Responsibilities include creating and teaching courses in your area of subject matter expertise. Class schedules may include day, evening, or weekends.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree or higher in subject area. Will consider AS degree or industry relevant certifications with strong work history and demonstrated subject matter expertise. Professional designations or certifications in subject matter desired. Relevant certification required to teach certification prep classes.

Experience and Expertise • All Coding Programming languages: R, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Swift, Go, C++, Python, MatLab, VBA, Excel • Hardware: CompTIA certifications, Cisco certifications. • Specialty Areas: Cyber-security, AWS certifications, Apple Certifications

Qualifications

  • Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developments and technologies in related field of specialization. Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to use technology in education. Please be specific in stating your areas of expertise and experience.
  • Experience: 3 years professional work experience in the subject area. At least 1 year of classroom teaching experience with non-traditional adult students preferred.
