Job TitleIT Asset Inventory Development ConsultantJob DescriptionSupport the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's IT Asset Management program. Manage and improve IT asset lifecycle processes, including asset acquisition, deployment, tracking, maintenance, software licensing, and asset disposition. Build, configure, and maintain Ivanti solutions to support asset inventory and management requirements. Develop and enhance automated workflows to improve asset tracking, compliance, and operational efficiency. Integrate IT systems and tools to ensure accurate asset data and streamlined processes. Monitor asset inventory accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvement. Support software and hardware asset management activities, including inventory reconciliation and license compliance. Collaborate with IT operations, infrastructure, support, and governance teams to ensure alignment with ITAM best practices. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantRequired Qualifications:Experience in an IT Asset Management role with a strong focus on automation and system integration.Hands-on experience building, configuring, and supporting Ivanti solutions.Strong understanding of the IT Asset Management lifecycle, including: asset acquisition, asset deployment, inventory management, software license compliance, asset retirement and disposal.Practical knowledge of software and hardware asset tracking processes.Technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and improve IT asset workflows.Ability to clearly articulate ITAM concepts, processes, and best practices.Experience working within enterprise IT environments.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with scripting and automation tools, including SQL, Perl, other workflow automation technologies.Experience designing and implementing automated asset management processes.Knowledge of IT system integration and data synchronization methodologies.Familiarity with ITIL principles and IT Service Management practices.Background in IT Support, Infrastructure, Networking, or related technical disciplines.Financial Services industry experience is preferred but not required.What's on OfferAn hourly pay rate between $35 and $49 USD, based on experience and expertise.An opportunity to work in a temporary role within a large organization in the financial services industry.A chance to make a meaningful impact by optimizing IT asset inventory systems.Exposure to a collaborative and technology-driven work environment.If you are ready to contribute your skills as an IT Asset Inventory Development Consultant in New York, apply now to be considered for this opportunity.
