Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Lead to help us mature and manage our enterprise-wide IT Asset Management (ITAM) program governing the lifecycle of IT hardware. Your work will support 4,000 users across 200+ locations, including corporate offices and dynamic project jobsites. We need a strategic and tactical thinker to manage key vendor relationships, especially our offsite logistics partner, and to execute asset procedures and assess and enforce compliance with asset policies. You will ensure our asset data is pristine, inventory is optimized, deployments are rapid, and compliance is maintained, all while controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Provide input on standard and best practices, working with the IT Asset Program Manager to develop a comprehensive ITAM framework (aligning with ITIL) for the entire hardware lifecycle—from procurement to disposal. This includes all end-user, networking, and AV equipment across all corporate and jobsite locations.

  • Process & Vendor Management: Collaborate with the IT Asset Program Manager to establish, document, and enforce all hardware asset management procedures and SLAs for both internal teams and the external logistics vendor. Act as the primary relationship manager for this vendor, ensuring all processes are optimized for rapid deployment, efficient asset recovery, and a seamless end-user experience, and that processes are adhered to.

  • CMDB & Data Integrity: Collaborate with the IT Asset Program Manager to optimize ServiceNow’s ITAM capabilities, ensuring the CMDB is the reliable source of truth for asset data. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations (e.g., against vendor reports) to ensure data integrity, enforce process compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Inventory & Financial Management: Monitor and maintain hardware stock levels to support new hires, break/fix, and rapid jobsite deployments. Partner with Finance and Procurement to forecast needs, assist with budgeting, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Compliance & Disposal: Ensure all asset processes, especially disposal, are secure, auditable, and compliant with policy. Coordinate the secure retrieval of hardware from decommissioned sites and from end users. Store data destruction certificates in approved locations.

  • Reporting & Metrics: Collaborate with the IT Asset Program Manager to develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to report on asset status, compliance, and program effectiveness to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

  • Standards Expertise: Knowledge of ITAM/ITIL frameworks

  • Technical Skills: Strong experience with ITAM/CMDB platforms (ServiceNow preferred), discovery tools, and strong data analysis/reporting skills.

  • Vendor Management: Experience managing third-party logistics vendors, including contract participation and SLA enforcement.

  • Communication: Ability to clearly communicate complex IT and financial concepts and reasoning to diverse audiences, from technical staff to senior executives.

  • Leading by Example: A self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage projects, and who rolls up their sleeves and pitches in to drive results.

  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills to perform complex reconciliations and maintain accurate data for decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation, CITAM, CSAM, or similar.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Industry Experience: Experience in construction, logistics, or a similar industry with a highly mobile workforce and distributed, temporary sites.

  • Familiarity: Knowledge of a wide range of IT hardware (networking, AV, mobile), MDM platforms (e.g., Intune, Jamf), and discovery tools.

The work environment and requirements described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

The Physical Side of the Role: Given that a good portion of your day will be spent at a desk, you should be comfortable with prolonged periods of focused work, whether it's collaborating with colleagues, analyzing data, or developing strategies. The role demands effective communication and sharp visual acuity for reviewing complex documents and performing detailed computer work. While there are times for quiet concentration, you'll also be expected to move actively throughout the office and travel occasionally to various locations, including dynamic construction sites, utilizing different modes of transportation. The ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds on occasion (think a box of files or small office equipment), is also required.

Your Work Environment: Your primary workspace will be in our professional office, which has a typical, quiet-to-moderate noise and light levels. As part of your work, you may also be required to visit active construction sites. These environments are naturally more dynamic and can include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, louder noise, and moving equipment. Your safety is our top priority, and you'll be expected to follow Clark Construction's safety policies and procedures, and all applicable laws, at all locations.

Our High-Performing Culture: This is a demanding, high-performance environment. We are looking for candidates who are energized by challenge, thrive under pressure, and are prepared to do what it takes to achieve exceptional results. Success in this role requires significant commitment, including flexibility to work extended hours, especially during critical project phases or client deadlines. Beyond regular working hours, there will be occasions where business needs require your attention, particularly for time-sensitive matters or emergencies. You are expected to monitor and respond to communications (phone calls, emails, text messages) as required to address these situations effectively. Your ability to manage these expectations and be responsive when critical issues arise is key to your success in this role and our collective success as a team.

A Drug Free Workplace:Clark promotes a drug free workplace. A pre-employment drug “fitness for duty” screening is required, and the company conducts random quarterly drug “fitness for duty” tests.

Clark offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. Additional benefits include life insurance, commuter benefit, short & long term disability, fitness reimbursement, FSA, tuition reimbursement, back-up daycare, tutoring & family support benefits, EAP/Work-Life assistance, and a holiday contribution program. For this role the base salary range is $45,000 - $140,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.https://www.clarkconstruction.com/careers/clark-experience

About Company

ABOUT OUR CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

Work with the best! Clark Hunt Construction, Inc. is a family-owned company offering more than 50 years of experience and tradition in site construction and preparation.

With more than 30 years of experience as a general contractor, and working closely on hundreds of projects with other contractors and developers, we’ve gained a complete understanding of what it takes to deliver successful projects time after time. Our critical path engineering ensures projects are completed precisely to specifications, on time, and within budget.

Even when a project is still on the drawing board, we’re able to anticipate the most challenging requirements of commercial developers. We can often recognize and address site issues before they have a chance of becoming problems. CHC is the absolute leader in regional site preparation for some of America’s largest and well-known retail corporations.

George Hunt founded our original construction company almost 50 years ago. His son Warren C. Hunt has been in the construction industry since 1962, when he began his career with his father’s general construction company – George Hunt Inc. Warren worked directly with Publix Super Markets in developing shopping centers throughout Florida. He was also the general contractor for hundreds of other Florida projects, some of which are Countryside Mall, Old Hyde Park Village, Island in the Sun, Northwood Plaza, and East Lake Woodlands Condominiums.

With the retirement of his father George Hunt in 1981, the building division was phased out, and Warren C. Hunt purchased the underground utility division, becoming a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida. We specialize in complete site development.
