EWASTE+ is seeking a IT Asset Processing Technician for our Scotia location! We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual with strong technical aptitude to join our Scotia operations team. This is a hands-on position that combines secure data destruction, electronic asset processing, technical diagnostics, and customer service. While this is not a traditional IT support role, it requires someone who is comfortable working with technology and understands computer hardware. Position Summary: The IT Asset Processing Technician is responsible for securely processing electronic assets, sanitizing data-bearing devices, performing diagnostic testing, and maintaining accurate asset records. Approximately 80% of the position is based at our Scotia processing facility, with up to 20% of the work week spent traveling throughout the Capital Region to perform secure on-site asset serialization and data destruction services at customer locations. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while representing EWASTE+ in a customer-facing environment.
