IT Assets Coordinator

SYSTEMTEC is seeking IT Assets Coordinator for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC.Candidate will support the day-to-day coordination and lifecycle management of IT hardware, software, mobile devices, and related technology resources. The role will ensure assets are accurately tracked, efficiently deployed, properly maintained, and handled in accordance with established operational, security, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications of the IT Assets Coordinator:

• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with IT asset management, inventory tracking, or technology lifecycle processes.
• Basic troubleshooting experience with computers, mobile devices, peripherals, or audio/visual equipment.
• Ability to accurately maintain asset records and complete physical inventory audits.
• Strong communication and coordination skills when working with employees, internal teams, and external vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established processes, security requirements, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the IT Assets Coordinator:

·         Experience coordinating IT equipment logistics, managing mobile device inventories, working with vendor portals, tracking software licenses, or supporting conference room technology is preferred.

Responsibilities of the IT Assets Coordinator:

• Receive, label, document, store, distribute, and track IT hardware and related equipment throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Coordinate technology provisioning for new hires, employee transitions, equipment replacements, and refresh activities.
• Perform recurring inventory reviews and reconcile physical equipment with asset records across applicable locations.
• Support mobile device administration, software/license tracking, reporting, and opportunities to improve technology utilization and costs.
• Provide basic assistance with end-user equipment and conference room AV issues and coordinate escalation or vendor support when necessary.
• Assist with vendor coordination, equipment ordering, service appointments, secure asset retirement, and special IT projects.

Work Location: Hybrid schedule; candidates must be able to work onsite as required by the position in Columbia, SC.
