IT Assistant
Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Assistant to provide technical support for computer systems, networks, phone systems, and other technology equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping users resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems involving network systems, phone systems, internet connectivity, and other technology equipment
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices
  • Respond to help desk requests and provide timely technical assistance to end users
  • Set up user accounts, passwords, and system access as needed
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and equipment inspections
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and technical procedures
  • Assist with inventory management of IT equipment and technology assets
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure reliable IT operations and support

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in an IT support or technical support role is preferred
  • Strong understanding of troubleshooting network systems, phone systems, internet connectivity, and other technology equipment
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and common business applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
