Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr - $28/hr
$63k - $70k upon permanent conversion
Position Overview: Our client is seeking an IT Associate for a temp-to-perm opportunity providing first-tier technical support to a global workforce. This IT Associate will support daily IT operations across hardware, software, mobile devices, user accounts, and meeting technology, with a strong emphasis on customer service and end-user experience.
Responsibilities of the IT Associate:- Provide first-tier technical support to employees across the organization.
- Troubleshoot laptops, printers, mobile devices, software, accounts, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts and assist with access-related issues.
- Manage IT onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support AV technology for meetings and workshops.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard processes.
- Identify recurring technical issues and assist with implementing solutions.
- Assist the IT team with various projects and initiatives.
Required Experience/Skills for the IT Associate:- 2 - 3 years of hands-on IT or technical support experience.
- Strong Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 experience.
- Experience supporting macOS and iOS/Android devices.
- Experience troubleshooting laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, and other peripherals.
- Understanding of TCP/IP and general networking concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise software and user accounts.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a small team environment.
- Ability to manage and reprioritize multiple requests.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the IT Associate:- Experience with PowerShell and/or VBScript.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Experience using Zendesk.
- Knowledge of Group Policy, WSUS, and WDS.
- Experience working with Lenovo products.
- Experience with Box, Smartsheet, and Adobe applications.
- AV and meeting technology support experience.
- Experience supporting a multicultural or global workforce.
- Microsoft or other technical certifications.
Education Requirements:- Associate's degree or additional education in a technical field is preferred.
