Job Overview - IT Audit Analyst - JO# 34199

Our client a global organization is seeking an IT Audit Analyst to support audits of the technology risk and control environment, with a focus on IT General Controls (ITGCs). This role offers strong exposure to cybersecurity, cloud environments, and emerging technologies, along with the opportunity to leverage data analytics and AI tools to enhance audit effectiveness.

Ideal for candidates with a foundation in IT audit who are looking to grow into broader technology risk and modern audit practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute IT audit engagements focused on ITGCs
  • Perform testing across access management, change management, and IT operations
  • Conduct walkthroughs and evaluate control design and effectiveness
  • Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations
  • Identify control gaps and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Support SOX ITGC testing, integrated audits, and special projects
  • Partner with IT and cybersecurity teams across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
  • Utilize data analytics, automation, and AI tools to improve audit quality and efficiency
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, frameworks, and emerging risks

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, or internal audit
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
  • Knowledge of ITGCs and SOX compliance
  • Familiarity with frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts (IAM, vulnerability management, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP systems, cloud platforms, and access controls
  • Certifications (or in progress): CISA preferred; CPA, CISSP, or Security+ a plus
  • Experience with data tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python) is a plus
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel (~20-40%)
