Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to support its audit organization. This role will lead SOX IT compliance initiatives, manage IT audit engagements, and supervise an IT audit team. The IT Audit Manager will work closely with audit leadership and play a key role in evaluating controls, reporting findings, and supporting enterprise compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

IT Audit Leadership

• Lead IT audit engagements and SOX IT compliance activities.
• Oversee IT General Controls (ITGC) testing and compliance reviews.
• Evaluate IT risks and internal controls and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in audit meetings and report on SOX ITGC findings and remediation efforts.
• Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit projects in accordance with audit methodologies.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise and mentor IT audit professionals.
• Review audit workpapers, testing documentation, and audit findings.
• Ensure audit assignments are completed accurately and within established timelines.
• Support the development of audit team members.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner closely with audit leadership and business stakeholders.
• Present audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to leadership.
• Support ongoing compliance, governance, and risk management initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between audit and business teams regarding remediation efforts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT audit experience.
• 3+ years of IT Audit Manager experience.
• Strong experience with SOX IT compliance and IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Proven experience leading and developing audit teams.
• Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and audit best practices.
• Experience presenting audit findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.

Work Environment

• Onsite 4 days per week.
• Work closely with audit leadership.
• Lead and support an IT audit team.
