Job Summary

The IT Audit & Strategic Project Manager is responsible for leading complex audit-related projects, advancing data-driven audit analytics capabilities, and supporting enterprise risk management initiatives. This position combines expertise in internal auditing, data analytics, risk assessment, and project management to provide objective insights, strengthen institutional controls, and support informed decision-making. The role oversees the full lifecycle of audit and strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and professional audit standards.

A key focus of this role is the design, development, and execution of advanced audit analytics and continuous monitoring capabilities to proactively identify risks, detect anomalies, and support investigative activities. Additionally, the position serves as a central resource for data acquisition, management, and governance, enabling accurate, reliable, and standardized data to support audit testing, reporting, and decision-making.

The IT Audit & Strategic Project Manager contributes to enterprise risk assessment and audit planning by integrating data-driven intelligence, evaluating emerging risks, and developing risk-based priorities. The role also promotes continuous improvement through the enhancement of audit methodologies, reporting infrastructure, analytics capabilities, and operational processes.

This position reports to the Deputy Accountability Officer and Audit Executive and serves as a key resource in strengthening audit effectiveness, advancing risk-informed decision-making, and promoting organizational accountability and transparency.
