About this position The Office of the Executive Auditor AUG seeks an experienced IT audit professional with strong expertise in auditing private-sector banking activities. In this role you will support risk-based audit and advisory engagements covering banking operations governance risk management internal controls data and technology. Experience auditing private financial institutions and exposure to risk management and control functions are highly desirable.

What youll do Conduct risk-based audit and advisory engagements covering private-sector banking activities governance risk management internal controls business processes data and technology.

Evaluate banking operations including treasury investments capital markets lending liquidity management and financial risk management.

Assess the design and effectiveness of financial operational technology and data-related controls.

Perform interviews walkthroughs testing data analytics and documentation reviews to identify key risks and control gaps.

Develop process maps risk and control matrices and other audit documentation.

Conduct data analytics to support audit planning testing continuous auditing and reporting.

Evaluate data governance data quality cybersecurity technology resilience third-party technology risks and controls over emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.

Prepare audit reports presentations and other deliverables in accordance with professional standards and AUG methodologies.

Communicate audit observations conclusions and recommendations clearly and constructively to Management and other stakeholders.

Support annual audit planning strategic initiatives and the implementation of AUGs strategic business plan.

Promote innovative audit practices and share knowledge on governance risk management controls banking activities data and technology.

What youll need Education Masters degree in Finance Business Administration Economics Information Systems Engineering Risk Management or a related field. A CIA or CISA certification may substitute for an advanced degree.

Experience At least three years five preferred of progressively responsible experience in internal audit external audit risk management or a related assurance function.

Required Experience assessing governance risk management internal controls and business processes within regulated financial institutions. Experience auditing technology risks and controls Experience with data governance continuous auditing cybersecurity cloud environments and technology resilience. Experience using data analytics in audit or risk assessment activities. Experience developing process maps and riskcontrol documentation.

Preferred Experience in AI-related governance and risk considerations Experience auditing treasury operations investments derivatives or capital markets. Exposure to first-line business functions and second-line risk compliance or control functions.

Certifications CIA or CISA strongly preferred. CFA desirable.

Languages Proficiency in English and one other Bank official language Spanish French or Portuguese.
