The
IT Business Analyst is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:- Bridge Business & Technology: Act as the strategic liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating complex business goals into scalable technical solutions.
- Elicit & Document Requirements: Lead discovery sessions to define and document functional, technical, security, and reporting specifications for new software implementations and enhancements.
- Drive Agile Execution: Collaborate within an Agile framework by defining user stories, establishing acceptance criteria, and actively participating in sprint planning.
- Optimize Business Processes: Analyze existing workflows and system capabilities to identify operational bottlenecks, recommend re-engineering options, and build business cases for tech investments.
- Partner on Delivery & QA: Work closely with Developers, Project Managers, and QA teams to design solutions, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure deployments meet original business needs.
- Manage Projects & Risks: Coordinate small project workstreams, proactively resolve technical constraints, and clearly communicate risks, timelines, and updates to cross-functional stakeholders.
Required qualifications for the position include:
- Must have JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience.
- Bachelor's of Science or Arts Degree.
- 3+ years' experience working with systems.
- 3+ years' experience with an SDLC, system development methodologies and requirements gathering and including business process mapping.
- Previous Business Analysis experience.
- Experience working with project teams from project initiation to closing.
- Excellent critical thinking, process analysis and mapping skills (Visio, Lucid).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications for the Position Include: - PMI-PBA or CBAP (in good standing) or CAPM (in good standing).
- Agile Practice Certification – CSM or AAC.
- Building or Construction experience.
Pay Rate:
$67.00 per hour.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
