Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to support warehouse and distribution operations for one of our principla clients. This role is responsible for partnering with Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, and IT teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and deliver technology solutions centered on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management processes, SAP EWM functionality, and enterprise system integrations. This position plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring reliable warehouse operations in a regulated environment.

Work Arrangement: This is a 50/50 onsite/hybrid position, requiring approximately 50% onsite presence at Jacksonville, FL to collaborate with warehouse operations and business stakeholders, with the remaining time working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze warehouse processes and identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions.
  • Define functional requirements for inbound, outbound, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting processes.
  • Analyze system integrations between SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA, ERP, Transportation Management (TM), and warehouse automation systems.
  • Work with technical teams to validate solution designs, system configurations, and implementation plans.
  • Support testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
  • Document business processes, functional specifications, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions comply with company standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution center operations.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional documentation.
  • Experience supporting SAP EWM implementations, enhancements, or production support.
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes including Receiving, Put-away, Inventory Management, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Cycle Counting, Physical Inventory.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Advanced / Fluent English (mandatory).

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting distribution centers or large-scale warehouse operations.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and related Supply Chain modules (MM, SD, TM).
  • Knowledge of warehouse automation technologies including RF scanners, barcode systems, conveyors, and automated storage solutions.
  • Experience integrating SAP EWM with third-party logistics (3PL), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), or Warehouse Execution Systems (WES).
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
  • SAP EWM Certification is a plus.
