Location: Kansas City, MO
Onsite Flexibility: Remote
A leading global financial organization is undergoing a large-scale SharePoint retention and migration initiative driven by OSFI findings related to improper retention practices. Globally, thousands of SharePoint sites require remediation; the U.S. alone has approximately 1,200 sites. All U.S. sites are being migrated to AvePoint, a SharePoint-based platform. The project was originally estimated at 4.5 5 years for the U.S., but the Board has accelerated the timeline to end of 2027 (possibly mid-2028), creating an intensive 12 18 month execution window with 17,000 hours of work required. To meet the accelerated deadlines, the client is building a Tiger Team responsible for coordinating with Information Stewards, executing migration tasks, and ensuring retention compliance. This IT Business Coordinator (Business Analyst IT I) role is the reporting and coordination arm of that Tiger Team. The role supports the SharePoint Migration Program by coordinating deliverables, running reports, validating retention requirements, and ensuring Information Stewards complete required actions. The role is heavily focused on reporting, tracking, follow-ups, issue triage, and SharePoint support.
This client is a leading global financial services organization offering insurance, investments, and asset management solutions. Operating across multiple countries, the organization serves a broad international customer base and employs professionals across actuarial, technology, compliance, project management, and business analysis functions who collaborate to deliver regulated financial products and services at scale.
